My requirement is to create a JPEG image of an input PDF file in thumbnail(250x250) size. With -g250x250 I am getting the required 250x250 size, but the image fits better in vertical way. This only affects Type 1 fonts and does slow down rendering slightly. My actual problem is to do the required scaling. Scribus generates its print preview by actually outputting a temporary PS file and then using some of the special "devices" from Ghostscript. Do not post any other answer posts or comments.Skim does not have tabs, Preview neither, and all the tabbed readers I have found have a problem or another, so I've eventually resorted to use Safari as a PDF reader. This will push the most favorite questions to the top. Aquamacs does that fine, but GUI Emacs does not seem to have tabs.
